Sighting in an Air Rifle Scope.mov

Watch as a Scope is sighted in on an air rifle. Air Rifle scopes like those by RWS and Walther have ASR or Airgun Shock Reinforcement. This means their lenses are cushioned at either side. This is because air rifles kick twice, once forward and once backward, as opposed to a firearm which only kicks once. Video directed by Umarex USA. Thanks for the video. Easy to follow. I sighted in my RWS 54 Airking with Pro Magnum pellets from Gamo. They are good for hunting small game. I get perfect shot. However, when I use a Match Flat head pellets that are slightly lighter, the hit point shifts about 1/2" to the left. Is that normal? Do I have to stick with the pellets I use for sighting in ?Thanks

I notice that with different pellets , as in 10 grain .177 or nylon tip , or othersI have to adjust the scope. Do you normally readjust everytime you use a new pelletor just move your gun up or down to compensate.
